Pureko and CARDIO®: the perfect match

The client: Pureko
Opening their doors in 2009, Pureko quickly became one of Poland’s major flexible foam producers. Their development was so rapid that the owners needed to find a larger workspace and a second slabstock machine that could continually be upgraded in line with their expansion. In addition, they were faced with pressing environmental concerns and new regulations in Poland. After weighing their options for suppliers, they ultimately chose us to provide both of their high pressure Maxfoam foaming machines.
The challenge
New local regulations in Poland required foam manufacturers to phase out the blowing agent methylene chloride due to health and environmental risks, and so Pureko sought a more eco-friendly expander to use in their products.
During their research for new solutions, they found our patented CarDio® technology, the perfect answer to their dilemma.
Our solution
The CarDio® system allows the client to use liquid carbon dioxide as a blowing agent. Liquid CO2 is a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable alternative to harmful chemicals, and aligns Pureko’s production with the new environmental regulations. CarDio® sets the standard for foam expansion technology, pairing accuracy & precision with uninterrupted production runs without the risk of foam buildup that competitors are unable to match.
Upgrading the Maxfoam is simple thanks to its modular design and allows Pureko to add new features and modules to the machine as the need arises. Both plants are fed by highly customised metering units that optimize raw material use and guarantee Pureko can create the exact foam grades and qualities their clients demand.
The tailored in-house raw chemical storage ensures some protection against market price fluctuations and ensures continuous production.
